Shopping Haul: Amazing Skincare, Makeup, Eye Care, Hair Care Products

Thursday, July 30, 2015

Ever since I got to Thailand, I've been going on so many shopping sprees ahh. They sell so many more good brands and products here, compared to UK. So yes.. here's my second shopping haul from a few weeks ago! Click here for my first beauty haul. Third haul will be coming soon XD

I've researched and used most of these products and I promise they all have great qualities so I recommend you to buy any items that you fancy ^^

♥ MAKEUP

These are some of the products I used in my Fresh & Natural Summer Makeup Guide :)

[American] ANASTASIA Tinted Brow Gel (Caramel) - This brow gel softens your eyebrows, making it look more natural. Plus they keep your hairs in place!

[Korean] CLIO Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner (Beige Shine & Dark Choco) - THESE GEL LINERS ARE AMAZING. They're so easy to apply and they stay on your face for basically the whole day. Definitely recommend it especially for the summer!

[Japanese] FELICELA Cheek & Lip Brushes - They're SUPER SOFT and have an elegant design.

[Thai] TAREEYA Makeup Bag - I was looking for a new bag for all my makeup products, and saw this one with traditional Thai kids on them. I think it's really cute :3

♥ SKINCARE
[Thai/Japanese?] CLEAR NOSE Blackhead Remover Solution Set - This 3-step peeling mask removes ALL the gunk in the blackheads on your nose. For more info on this product, visit their website here.

[Korean | Australian] MAMONDE & SKINLITE Facial Mask Sheets - I haven't used these masks yet but I think they'll be really nice and refreshing.

[German] NIVEA Invisible for Black & White Clear Roll-On Deodorant - I mentioned that I sweat very easily in my love/hate tag so yes, I've always had problems with sweaty armpits (woohoo TMI XD). I'm so glad I found this deodorant because it works SO WELL. I don't sweat much anymore and the deo smells pretty nice too.

[American] CLEAN & CLEAR Oil Control Film - This is a MUST-HAVE if you live in hot and humid countries. I use it to clear excess oil that builds up on my face.

[American] NEUTROGENA Alcohol-Free Toner - I was looking for a simple alcohol-free toner and this one is so good. I use it as part of my night skincare routine.

[German] NIVEA Sun Protect & Refresh Cooling Mist SPF 50 - This sunscreen spray is soo convenient compared to a regular lotion. You can spray this all over your body and be protected from the sun in less than a minute. It's a cooling mist as well so it will cool you down before you go outside into the hot weather.

[Japanese] KOSE Sekkisei Cleansing Cream - The shop lady gave this sample to me for free. I haven't used it yet but from reading online reviews, this cleansing cream looks very promising :)

[Japanese] KOSE Junkisui Foaming Wash - This facial wash is for oily / prone to acne skin. I've been using this for almost a month now and it really reduced my acne. After cleansing my face with this, my face felt so nice and clean, without feeling dry at all. It also makes my face brighter. Definitely recommend this product!

[American] POND'S Flawless White Brightening Night Cream - Ayy I'm the typical Asian who wants to have a brighter skin okay haha. This cream really brightened up my face! But unfortunately, after going to sunny beaches in Thailand with my fam I got super tanned T.T Hopefully, this cream will make my face more fair again!

 ♥ EYE CARE
[American] RENU Fresh Multi-Purpose Solution - I've re-purchased this contact lenses solution so many times~ I've been using it for a few years and have had no problems with it. It is used to clean and store your weekly/monthly/yearly contact lenses.

[American] RENU Lubricating & Rewetting Eye Drops - Sometimes my eyes get dry after wearing circle/contact lenses for many hours, and it can get rather irritating. This eye drop definitely relieves my dry eyes and makes them lubricated again :D

♥ HAIR CARE
Well to be honest, I shouldn't call this a "hair care" product because straighteners do the exact opposite of caring about your hair health HAHA.

[Thai] LE'SASHA Tourmaline Metro Slim Hair Straightener - My hair is still really short (sadly) so this slim and small straightener is perfect for my short hair. It's made of tourmaline, and it glides down my hair very easily and leaves little damage. Sometimes I wake up and my hair decides to act crazy and stick out in all directions, so this is super useful on days like that haha!

Do you use any of these products or anything similar? Will you give them a try? Feel free to share in the comments :D

// I'm still on my family vacation in Thailand. We came home for tonight then we're heading to Cambodia tomorrow for 2 nights. You can follow my adventures on INSTAGRAM (@ARRADA.JPG)! I took soo many photos and videos already, can't wait to share them with you :) //

  8. Wise haul! Clean and Clear's Oil Control Film is really helpful especially for teens with oily skin *like me*. It's quite pricey here in the PH, but its totally worth it! :)

  10. I'm surprised you were able to find more suitable beauty products back in your hometown compared to when you were in the UK. Over here, we can't seem to get quality imported products unless we really source it somehow from the US or something. Either we stick by local makeup or get the Asian version of a US brand, say like Maybeline makeup products. It's not the same. :(

As for UK brands of beauty.. I only know of Soap and Glory and boy I wish we had that here in the Philippines. Still wishing, haha.

I'm more of a skincare type of girl as opposed to makeup so I went to check out directly our haul in this department. I see familiar products! Mamonde reminds me of Etude House's facial masks, teehee. Never really liked the Nivea sunscreen product I had before though. :( I threw it away even if there was still a lot left.
