5 Things I'm Forever Thankful For

Friday, September 04, 2015

I guess this is similar to those "Happy Friday" or "Thankful -Day" posts that some bloggers post on a weekly basis. But in this post, I wanted to write about things that I will forever be thankful for. I realise that these things made a huge positive impact on my life and without these circumstances, my life would've been a lot more difficult.

1. My parents do not drink, smoke nor gamble.

2. We have housekeepers who clean, cook, do laundry and all the housework for us. They make very delicious food :3 We also have our own driver.

3. Our condo is located in the center of Bangkok where there are many shopping malls with everything we need - shops, movie theatres, restaurants, you name it.

4. I did not succumb to my suicidal thoughts a few years ago. Because I didn't take my own life then, I get to meet and be with the love of my life - Akash. As well as watching my younger siblings grow into fine teenagers and nurturing my relationship with my parents.

5. My family, including myself, are born healthy. By this, I mean that we are blessed to not have any mental or physical disabilities that are caused by genetics.

What are you thankful for in your life? Feel free to share them in the comments below :)

With love,

Nana

  3. this is beautiful and yes, you should be thankful for all of these. I think these are more like the least appreciated things in our life. All because they are given. But when you think about it, not everyone has the liberty to be born healthy, neither of the parents smoke, drink or gamble and some took their lives before they even realize the meaning of it.

  4. Aww it warms my heart to know that you are very grateful for these things that other people usually just take for granted. You're also lucky to live in an area close to the commercial center of Bangkok. As a person who loves to shop (hahaha), I envy you for that privilege! ;)

Aw :( surprised to read about number four. Never would have thought that you went through that time in the past. I'm glad you didn't give into that and I hope you stay positive and optimistic about life. :) I also hope things are better now. The worst things in life never stay permanent.. :)

  13. #3!!! How I wish I can travel to Bangkok because I've been longing to shop there! Most online shops here in the Philippines are selling clothes bought from Bangkok and the clothes have really great quality. I wonder how cheap it is when you buy directly in Bangkok!
