Simple Salmon Fried Rice Recipe

Sunday, December 06, 2015

Hello hello! Yes I'm still alive XD I apologise for disappearing from the blogging world for almost 3 months. Second year at uni made me busier than I expected. Finally, my workload has calmed down a bit so I'm back! Also, I've replied to all your comments (yes all 30 of them) on my previous post "Highlights of Summer Trip in Thailand", check it out if you haven't already~

Today I have a simple salmon fried rice recipe for you. It's SUPER easy and quick to make so it's perfect for busy students like me or for anyone looking for a simple meal to cook!

The main ingredients are egg, salmon and rice. Egg is a very good source of protein and many vitamins, and salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. So this recipe is yummy and healthy :)

SALMON FRIED RICE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
● 1 fillet salmon
● 2 eggs
● 2 cups cooked rice
● 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
● 1 tbsp. sesame oil
● 1 tsp. soy sauce
● Salt
● White pepper
● Black pepper

METHOD
1. Sprinkle the salmon with salt and pan fry with vegetable oil until cooked.
2. Break the salmon into pieces and set aside.
3. Beat the eggs. Heat up the pan and add vegetable oil. When the pan is hot, add the eggs and cook until they're 80% done. Set aside.
4. Keep the pan on medium heat and add sesame oil.
5. Add the rice and break them into pieces if they're in chunks.
6. Once rice is coated with oil, add in the shredded salmon. Then add the cooked egg and break into small pieces.
7. When everything is mixed well, add in soy sauce, salt, white pepper and black pepper to taste.
8. Serve and enjoy!
