A day trip to Brighton filled with beaches, sea creatures, laughter and smiles with my love ♥
You can watch the video diary at the bottom of this post! :)

It's finally here! I've been itching to edit and post this travel diary for ages but final exams got in the way. Exams are over now and I'm so happy to share this trip with you guys :')

In early May, Akash and I travelled to Brighton, the city where I attended Sixth Form (equivalent to grades 11-12 in the US). It's a beautiful city with the most stunning sunset and ocean view (if the weather is good haha). First thing we did when we arrived was shopping in Churchill Square. It's the biggest shopping mall in Brighton. I bought some nice clothes hehe. Then our tummies started growling so we headed to Sushi Garden for lunch.

LUNCH @ SUSHI GARDEN

LUNCH @ SUSHI GARDEN | This is my all-time favourite restaurant in Brighton! It's a lovely Japanese restaurant with great food and service. Their signature dishes are the warm sushi. Yes that's right, the sushi are baked and they taste amazing.

BRIGHTON PIER & THE BEACH

BRIGHTON PIER & THE BEACH | The weather was cloudy when we first arrived but the sky cleared up and the sun decided to say hello later on. We walked around Brighton Pier to see the attractions & rides but didn't get on any ^^" However we did eat some delicious ice cream. The 'beach' is not a sandy one, it's filled with pebbles haha. It was so wonderful just chilling and watching the waves & people with Akash :')

SEA LIFE BRIGHTON

SEA LIFE BRIGHTON | Fun fact: It's the world's oldest operating aquarium! Oh man, we had a great time staring at strange sea creatures, touching starfish and crabs, and watching sharks being fed. The creatures in the 'Jurassic Seas' were my faves. There was one scary-looking turtle with a loong neck with teeth - check it out in the video! XD

BRIGHTON MARINA

BRIGHTON MARINA | We had dinner at cheeky Nando's here and admired the stunning views of all the yachts and beautiful houses. How cool is it to have your own yacht right in front of your house?! It must be amazing to live there :3

BUS RIDE / GOING HOME

BUS RIDE / GOING HOME | Lastly, we took a bus ride through the town centre, to the train station. Shoutout to the "Lady Boys of Bangkok" poster! :P Feeling happy and satisfied with the trip, we hopped on a train and headed back to our homes. There were a few parts of Brighton that I wanted to take Akash to but we didn't have enough time. Ah well. Until next time!

Also, I worked quite hard on this video diary! I hope you enjoy watching :)
